Girls and boys of summer
Camps and programs bring thousands of 6- to 17-year-olds to campus
During the summer, legions of girls and boys flock to the Homewood campus to participate in organized educational and recreational activities. The university provides a wide range of programs—from sports day camps to pre-college engineering programs—for those ages 6 to 17.
Here, students in the Center for Talented Youth’s summer program take a break from the classroom on the Freshman Quad. CTY offers eligible students from around the world the opportunity to engage in challenging academic work in the company of peers who share their exceptional abilities and love of learning.
