2008 Annual Security Report now available
The Johns Hopkins University 2008 Annual Security Report of crime statistics and security policies is now available on the university’s web site at www.jhu.edu/security.
In keeping with the mandates of the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, the report contains statistical compilations for the three most recent calendar years of reported crimes that occurred on campus, in certain off-campus buildings owned or controlled by the university and on public property within or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus. Also included are campus security policies including those related to missing-student notifications, alcohol and drug use, sexual assault, crime prevention and the reporting of crimes.
Federal regulation dictates that the report be published by Oct. 1.
All Johns Hopkins faculty, staff and students are encouraged to read and print out the document and to report all criminal incidents promptly to their respective security department or other security authority.
