Professional Clothing Drive — The Office of Work, Life and Engagement invites the Johns Hopkins community to donate new and gently used professional men and women’s clothing and handbags to formerly homeless, disabled and underprivileged individuals just entering or re-entering the workforce. Donations will be collected through Sept. 21 in support of the employment programs and services of the League for People with Disabilities, Million Dollar Man, Bea Gaddy’s Women and Children’s Center, Success in Style and Project PLASE.

Hopkins Toastmasters — Individuals who would like to polish their speaking skills before a seminar or scientific presentation, or to prepare for formal or extemporaneous speeches, are invited to join the Hopkins Toastmasters Club. The club meets every second or fourth Monday at alternating times: 1:15 to 2:15 p.m. (second Monday) or 5:30 to 7 p.m. (fourth Monday), in the Radiology Library, at 600 N.
