School of Nursing receives new-equipment grant

A $250,000 new-equipment grant from the Health Resources and Services Administration will enhance the training of advanced-practice nurses at the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing. The HRSA grants are given “to upgrade equipment, expand training capabilities and enhance learning mobility, accessibility and flexibility to promote learning anytime, anywhere.” Proposed equipment includes a new cardiovascular simulator, videoconferencing tools and hospital beds for the school’s simulation center.
