Nominations sought for MLK Jr. Community Service Award

Organizers of the upcoming Martin Luther King Jr. Commemoration Celebration are calling for nominations of faculty, staff, graduate students and retirees for the 2011 Martin Luther King Jr. Award for Community Service. Recipients who demonstrate the spirit of volunteerism, citizenship and activism that characterized King’s life will be recognized at the annual commemoration event, to be held in January.

To submit a nomination, go to hrnt.jhu.edu/mlk. The deadline is Friday, Sept. 23.
