The CMR funds are available to encourage innovative research in pathogenic mechanisms, basic science and therapeutic approaches related to muscle and bone research.
Three grants of $30,000 (direct costs only) for a one-year pilot will be awarded, with eligibility to apply for a one-year competitive renewal.
Junior investigators without current or past NIH research support, or established investigators who would like to transition to a new career focus, are encouraged to apply.
