JHH receives only Hospital of Choice Award in Maryland

The Johns Hopkins Hospital is the only medical center in Maryland to receive a Hospital of Choice Award from the American Alliance of Healthcare Providers.

The AAHCP evaluates approximately 400 hospitals nationwide for the honor, which is based either on an extensive application process or by a secret review of the hospital’s public communications and staff interactions with patients and their families. JHH was one of 50 hospitals in 29 states and the District of Columbia to receive the award for the winter quarter.
