Family of Nathan Krasnopoler holds candlelight memorial

On the anniversary of the day when sophomore bicyclist Nathan Krasnopoler collided with a turning vehicle in an accident that eventually led to his death, his family and friends held a vigil to honor his memory.

The Feb. 26 event began with a bike ride that finished at the accident site on University Parkway, alongside the Homewood campus, for a candle lighting and minute of silence, followed by a walk to the Charles Commons residence hall for a brief ceremony.
