Special event commemorates the Titanic’s 100th anniversary

Permission has been granted for members of the Johns Hopkins community to come aboard a journey into the history of the R.M.S. Titanic. Katherine Newman, dean of the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences, will lead the odyssey, which begins at 10 p.m. on Saturday, April 14, in 50 Gilman Hall.

The evening’s adventure includes an introduction by Ron Walters, chair of the History Department; a presentation by trustee and Titanic expert Chris Lee; and a screening of James Cameron’s Titanic.
