Monthly ‘Gazette’ magazine to launch in September
Just a reminder that this is the last issue of The Gazette in its current form, and that we will be on hiatus for the month of August while we get ready for our September debut as an exciting new monthly magazine.
Over the last year, we in the Office of Communications have been looking at better ways to showcase the stories of the university and its people, and we think that this publication’s fresh and innovative format will provide a perfect springboard for enhanced coverage of the news and features that are so important to those of us at Johns Hopkins.
Each month, we’ll bring you stories on the arts, books and sports, along with news, features and work-related matters, including Cheers and Milestones.
Breaking news will not disappear. You’ll find it instead on The Hub, the new online resource for all Johns Hopkins news (see story, this page).
We’re excited about the opportunities that our new format provides to us—both as journalists and as members of the Johns Hopkins community—and we strive to exceed your expectations. This publication is for all of us, and we hope that you will help us make it timely and comprehensive. The more you keep us informed about what’s happening with you, the better job we can do sharing that information with your colleagues. Have a news tip? Please drop us a line at gazette@jhu.edu.
